He entered the University of Vienna in 1873 at the age of 17. He finished his degree in 1881. Freud died in England in 1939. He was an active therapist, theorist and writer to the very end. ( Ewen 19-20) Erich Fromm was born four years after Freud in 1900 in Frankfurt, Germany. Unlike Freud, Fromm had no medical training in his background. He received his PHD from the University of Heidelberg and later studied at Berlin Psychoanalytic Institute. Erich Fromm died March 16, 1980 in Switzerland. (Ewen 187) While Freud and Fromm were contemporaries and shared some basic beliefs, their approach to most issues varied greatly. Freuds attitude was purely scientific. Fromm desired to humanize things. Fromm accepted the importance of unconscious, biological drives, repression and defense mechanisms, but rejected Freuds theory of id, ego and superego. Fromm did not believe in specific developmental stages. He believed that the growing child slowly learns to distinguish between I and not I, through contact with the environment, notably those involving the parents.(Ewen 194) Fromm contends that personality development continues into adulthood. He believes that if a child keeps up with the increasing feelings of isolation, that anxiety can be kept to a minimal and personality development proceeds normally. Freuds well-known theory is that the personality is determined during the first five years of life. He believes we proceed through a series of psychosexual stages: oral, anal, urethral, phallic, a latency period and genital. Freud contends that the genital stage is the goal of normal development and that it represents true maturity. ( Hansen 25-26) Fromm warns against pathogenic behavior because it can damage the childs sense of reliance. He believed healthy personality is illustrated by biophilia, love, creativity and reason. The nonproductive frames include narcissism, necrophilia, dependence, compulsive strivings for power or wealth and the mechanisms of escape. Fromm had four other nonproductive orientations that he devoted a great deal of attention to. These were receptive, exploitative, hoarding and marketing. Three of these orientations can be loosely compared to Freuds oral-dependent, oral-sadistic and anal character without the sexual implications. Freud and Fromm both believed that dreams are the royal road to the unconscious. ( Ewen 198) Fromm agreed with Freud that dreams could serve the purpose of wish fulfillment, that the days events set them off, and that a person may conceal truths in different ways. While both men believed in dream symbols, Freud believed most dreams involved childhood sexual impulses and Fromm regarded many symbols as asexual. Before started it was looking a difficult job but when we did started it was making easy step by step. We had chosen DLF Construction Company. In this project we used many techniques. We used swot analysis and porter 5 forces to identify a problem .it all were included in our first assessment. In our second assessment we did a work on identified problem. We used cause and effects, 5 whys also in problem solving techniques. We got many solutions to solve it. Change in design and estimation skills we found to solve identified problem. In this project we selected DLF construction Ltd. It is an Indian construction company. When we were doing this project then it was necessary that our selected business should have any major problem. For eg. If we select Burger King. Then customer service is the main problem. And then we had to do that analyse the problem by using tools cause and effects. Then we had to need that find solutions by using problem solving techniques. There were so many solutions to solve the problem but we did search for some main solutions to get the decision. Problem indemnification We select DLF construction Ltd. Company to do our project. We did many researches to get more knowledge about this company. We got in our search that estimation was the major problem in our selected company. This problem exist universally, estimation problem cause the profit of DLF group decline. We used 5 whys to get a perfect solution for identified problem. we used cause and effects and we got four factors which effect estimation problem. These four factors are:- Change in design. Inappropriate technology. Estimation skills. Documentations. When we were searching about solutions we also got some knowledge from our class. May be it should be perfect for your project. Some time I also did many calls to my members but you cant expose your thoughts by wording every time. So we all did very hard work in this project. It was really an interesting job. I like it very much. I got so many different energetic ideas from our team work. I got team work can discover the advantage of success. I also discovered that even the simplest things on earth could be turned into something amazing if we put enough creativity and effort into working on them. In this assignment, we practiced using scientific method to solve a real problem. The process include Problem identified, Analyse the root factor, search solution for root factor and get integrated solution. Especially in the stage of analyse root factor, the 5 Why method was used to find root factors, before to do that i was thinking that it is really a hard job but after started it all questions were coming in front one by one. There were so many solutions make an appropriate solution for identified problem. We put all solutions together and then select a perfect solution for that. Review our assignment, we used Brainstorming and 5 Whys looking for solution, due to the limitations of Brainstorming and 5 Whys, our solution couldnt completely solve problem. E.g. in the stage of Brainstorming, although we listed some causes, but these causes cant cover all of the causes whilst we only chose two major causes to analyse, it leaded to information loss once again. When we were doing the 5 Whys, we found some solutions, but these solutions are still lock of details. In the real production actives, DLF need do more detailed work. On the other hand, our constructions experience affects the quality of solutions as well Recommendation:- After we finished our work, we learned that choose a good method is the first step to success, master the tool is a guarantee to success, besides these, gather information is also very important during the problem solving, more information you gathered more helpful to help you fix real problem. On the other hand team work has more interpersonal communication problem. We are three members from India and one from china. It makes us sometime difficult to understand him. When we did start our project then we all was unable to know anything about it. But after start it all things were coming in front one by one. I learned that every project has some weaknesses and some strengths and working with a group can help discover what they are. We faced many challenged in our project. It was a difficult job but now I can say if in future I will meet any problem like this with an individual work on it then I can face it very easily. Because this job make me able to face any problem very nicely. I can solve my problems with good skills. Now, I like challenges. I can prove my ability to do any project. I can make any change in design with confidence. I can handle any situation at any place because this assessment gives me a lot of skills to do any project within a group. It was a great opportunity to learn anything about applied management. If in future I will face same project, then i will not tensed like this. It will be easy for me. I can understand my all group members point of view easily because of this group assessment. I get more confidence after this project. I can expose myself and my feelings easily now. I can use my decision making skills easily, which are improved by this project. I can prove myself in similar project in future. However, more today than ever before, there are more high tech planned out, skilled criminals, rather than your average break in, get out criminals. Unfortunately, trends also show that many of these crimes end up getting ugly. When a person is involved, such as a break in when people are home, the perpetrator is usually armed with a weapon of some kind. Many times the robbery does not go as planned and robbery plus murder or attempted murder is committed. Trends also show that robberies and burglaries are also committed against certain kinds of people. These people are the ones that are the most vulnerable or naà ¯ve. Leaving your garage door open and unattended and walking around with large amounts of cash on you are two examples of things not too do, or someone might take advantage of you. Another thing the articles have proven is that criminals can be very tricky. For instance, the Spanish couple that robbed the Spanish speaking woman. That robbery was well planned out so that the woman trusted two strangers into her home, not knowing what would soon occur. In order to prevent these types of crimes from occurring, there are many logical things which the average citizen can do: a) Keep everything under lock and key. This means that everyone should make sure that there house, car, and other valuables are kept protected with a  good security system. b) Make sure everyone knows you are well protected. Everyone should know that if a burglar sees two identical houses, one of which has a sign showing which security system they use and one has nothing, the house with nothing is in for some trouble. Also find out if your neighborhood has a neighborhood watch program. If not, it isn’t a bad idea to create one. Criminals will always choose the easier target over a more protected one. c) Be alert. If an unknown individual comes to your door, make sure they show you an official badge or something which proves they are who they say they are. Anyone could carry some mail or a box and say they have a delivery for you. d) Never under-estimate the mind of a criminal. Criminals can be very tricky if they need to be. If a situation is beginning to look suspicious, don’t hang around to see what’s up. Leave the area, and make a phone call to the police.

First I will introduce global economical powers that influence the four external forces after that I will then introduce the four forces in more detail. Global perspective As the world is emerging from the waters of deep economical crisis I think the best to start with are global influences that affect the main four forces. Each organization is directly strongly influenced by general laws of economics: Economic growth – is influenced by various factors such as development on stock markets, which is strongly influenced by political activities around the world, prices of raw materials (metals, oil etc.) but also prices of energy and future of the economical development in general. Inflation – increases cost of operations and price of products and reduces employment. Interest rates – as many businesses operate with money borrowed from banks changing interest rates influence directly interest expense, which influences the cost of operations and the cost of product PEST Macro analysis Each local business is based in a certain environment that directly influences its performance. The environment a company exists in has a strong impact on every aspect of the company`s life. The following main four macro-economical external influences are interdependent. Political atmosphere – each country has a specific political atmosphere, political culture. For instance countries of the EU would have very different atmosphere to North Korea. Local political decisions shape the countries economical perspective and enable or disable, speed up or slow down the development of local businesses. Political decisions directly influence law of the country (region) and some of them such as economic reforms make strong and long-lasting impact on local businesses. Even political decisions such as annual budget or introduction of income levy  have profound impact on business performance. However this would be more applicable in Adam Smyth`s times. Currently we can still apply this influence of local politics on small or local businesses but the late seventies and eighties of the 20th century, started especially in the Euro-American civilization process of progressive economic liberalization that resulted in supra-national corporations that we know today. Many of these corporations are wealthier then countries they operate in and often dictate what the local political milieu will be. This route would eventually lead us to the question of monopolization and to the question of economic and political interests and their balance. Ultimately it is both international and local law that that create balance between these two areas.1 Great example of politics and law (even if enforced by the international public rather than by local corrupted politicians) impacting on businesses is from India, where supra-national companies producing clothing completely ignored health and safety regulations in order to produce more and cheaper. Unfortunately this lack of political ethic and responsibility resulted in tragedies and loss of many lives. Social environment – main characteristics of social environment are social norms and cultural and even religious preferences. Max Weber sees the protestant idea of hard work as a result of original sin as the inspiration for development of hard-work and profit focused capitalism. 2 This idea of hard-work and profit focused capitalism combined in Europe and in the North of America with culturally well established system of banks borrowing finance for interest resulted in today`s macro economical models. Euro-American banking system is historically based in certain interpretation of oral Torah called Mishna that allows borrowing money for interest in return. It was in historical Europe traditionally â€Å"allowed† only to the Jewish nation as a form of discrimination and punishment. So the development of economy is we know it today would be very unlikely in many parts of the world simply for cultural and religious reasons as in some countries would be money coming from interest prohibited.3 Demographic profile of social environment is crucial for any business existing within that particular society. Gender, age, ethnicity, language, education, public opinion and norms influence every aspect of business. Gender norms define approach of  society towards male / female work.4 In many societies is female work traditionally under-rated therefore from the perspective of operations management it is cheaper for companies to employ women in certain positions. Education of population leads us into the next factor that affects business†¦ Technological development – is a result of the impact of education in the local social environment; technological changes always initiated further development. The invention of wheel accelerated speed of movement of our ancestors, the invention of metals improved their farming instruments as well as weapons but here we are not talking about the long time gone past. Today we live in exciting times of technological changes, which are changing the face of businesses on daily basis. Internet and electronic communication speeded up every aspect of business from operations, logistics to client services. Even the smallest local newsagent or grocery shop must keep up with the development of recent technologies. 20 years ago it would be absolutely unthinkable to top up phone credit while paying for grocery in a local shop. In fact there was no topping up credit at all today. Today we would find it rather odd if our local newsagent (if we still buy newspapers) would not have a top up terminal. Purchasing a flight used to be in general one to one experience; we used to go to travel-agents or flight-companies directly and purchased flights. Today we find normal to use the internet at home even to check in before our flight. A flight company that would not offer internet service to purchase a flight would not survive today. But all this technological progress would not be possible without investments, without wealth. Economical environment – wealth as a source of investment was based in times of Adam Smyth and his An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations in productive powers of Labour, in accumulation and employment of stock, in progress of opulence in different nations (which is the distribution of wealth between cities and countryside) and in a system of political economy. 5 Today is material wealth accumulated not so much in nations but more so in supra-national companies. Still effective investment is the fuel of business development. Economical environment and wealth  depends as we already mentioned on macro-economic factors of global economic growth, inflation and interest rates that directly influence local currency inflation and interest rates increase or decrease.
